The Women’s Conference at Agrobiotech Innovation Forum explores business transformation through technology, data and people

Organised by FEMAC and FEMEL, with the support of the Provincial Council of Lleida, the event featured Judith Viader, CEO of Frit Ravich, and a roundtable discussion with professionals from Progrés, Promisol, LEDS C4 and Taurus.

On 28 October, as part of the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026, held in Lleida, the Women’s Conference: Transforming to Compete took place. The event was organised by FEMAC Cluster and FEMEL, with the support of the Provincial Council of Lleida.

Held at 11:00 am, the conference brought together professionals from different business sectors to share experiences and reflect on the role of female talent in organisational transformation, with a particular focus on technology, data and people as key elements in improving business competitiveness.

The event featured Judith Viader, CEO of Frit Ravich and President of the Foodservice Cluster of Catalonia, who shared the family-owned company's experience of transformation and growth, focusing on how business processes can be transformed and change turned into a competitive advantage.

This was followed by a roundtable discussion entitled Transforming Processes from the Local Area: Technology, Data and People, moderated by Laura Purroy, Manager of FEMEL. The discussion brought together four professionals from companies based in the region:

  • Ester Segarra, General Manager of Progrés.

  • Anna Roig, General Manager of Promisol.

  • Evelyn Ramírez, Process Engineer at LEDS C4.

  • Júlia Plans, AI Project Manager at Taurus.

The roundtable provided an opportunity to share business experiences and different perspectives on integrating technology and data into production and organisational processes, as well as discussing the role of people in adapting to new industrial challenges.

Through this initiative, FEMAC and FEMEL reaffirm their commitment to promoting female talent, increasing the visibility of women's leadership in business and creating spaces that encourage knowledge and experience sharing between companies.

The Women’s Conference was part of the Agrobiotech Innovation Forum 2026 programme, a meeting point for companies, professionals and stakeholders from the agri-food and biotechnology ecosystem.
