FEMAC promotes joint business participation at Fruit Attraction 2026

The FEMAC Cluster has organised the joint participation of six member companies at Fruit Attraction 2026, held at IFEMA Madrid: DASA, Waatic, ARaymond Agriculture, Bovi, Intecpal and Argiles Disseny i Fabricació.

The trade fair provided an opportunity for participating companies to showcase their solutions, establish new professional contacts and exchange experiences with other stakeholders in the agri-food sector.

FEMAC takes part in the international “Sweden meets Catalonia” event

FEMAC Cluster took part in the “International Intercluster: Sweden meets Catalonia” event on 29 September, organised by ACCIÓ in Barcelona. The meeting brought together representatives from Catalan and Swedish clusters to share experiences and discuss common challenges.

Representing FEMAC, Cluster Manager Enric Pedrós participated as a speaker in the panel dedicated to resilience, as part of a programme focused on sharing best practices between the two cluster ecosystems.

The session explored different perspectives on how clusters can help strengthen the ability of companies and industries to adapt to an economic and technological environment undergoing constant change.

REWINE: giving a new life to waste from the wine sector

Vine pruning residues and other by-products from the wine sector may have much more value than they initially appear to. This is the idea behind REWINE, a new innovation project that will explore how these materials can be transformed into new resources for use in agriculture and industry.

With an investment of nearly €600,000 and a planned implementation period until July 2028, REWINE brings together organisations from Catalonia, Aragon and Andalusia to explore new ways of valorising biomass generated by the wine sector.
