FEMAC seeks to strengthen the Catalan Agricultural Production Means sector by analyzing the sector and bringing together all its sensibilities and needs.

INTERNATIONALIZATION

A tool to expand the focus of the business through the Cluster’s relationship with the main economic, political and social entities, as well as networks of clusters at Catalan, Spanish and international level.

INNOVATION PROJECTS

A vehicle for collecting public funds, for the implementation of new projects and new ideas, and to deepen relationships between the main Technology Centers of Catalonia and Spain.

DIALOGUE

A space for dialogue among the main actors, which integrates the diversity of the Agricultural Production Means sector.

JOINT PARTICIPATION

Specific sessions for strategic immersions, specialized training, work groups, workshops, etc.

FEMAC takes part in FormaOcupa to connect young talent with the agri-industrial and technology sectors

Lleida, 26–28 February 2026 – The FEMAC cluster took part in a new edition of FormaOcupa, the leading training and employment fair in the Lleida region, together with the Federació d’Empresaris Metal·lúrgics de Lleida (FEMEL) i l’Associació Provincial d’Empreses d’Automoció de Lleida.

Over the course of three days, the fair brought together nearly 8,000 visitors from Lleida, Barcelona, Huesca and Tarragona, consolidating its role as a key platform for connecting education with the labour market and the local business ecosystem.

Smart DROPLETS Final Event | The race to make agircultural robotics practical, profitable, and trusted

The Smart Droplets EU project has reached its final phase, marking a key milestone with a full-day Final Event in Athens, hosted at the Agricultural University of Athens. The event brought together research organisations, agritech innovators, industry leaders, and sector stakeholders to reflect on project results and, crucially, to focus on what comes next: how agricultural robotics and AI can become trusted, scalable, and commercially viable solutions that deliver real value in day-to-day farming conditions.

From January 26 to 30, 2026, the FEMAC Cluster actively participated in the AI 2026 Mission in China, a strategic initiative led by FEMAC and in collaboration with the packaging cluster, INNOVI, and the Foodservice cluster of Catalonia. An initiative promoted with the support of ACCIÓ that has allowed us to delve deeper into the main vectors of transformation that are redefining the agri-food sector on a global scale.

Aquest matí,  hem organitzat una jornada online informativa sobre el Kit Espai de Dades, adreçada a empreses del sector agroalimentari i industrial. Durant la sessió s'ha explicat què són els espais de dades, com poden aportar valor al negoci i quines ajudes permeten facilitar-ne la incorporació. La jornada ha inclòs demostracions reals dels projectes UPCxels (UPC) i AgrospAI (UdL), així com una intervenció d'un integrador/facilitador a càrrec d’AurIA. L’esdeveniment ha posat de manifest el potencial de les dades com a actiu estratègic per a la competitivitat empresarial.
