TECHNOLOGICAL AND ECONOMIC FEASIBILITY STUDY FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF AN OPEN AND UNIVERSAL DATA EXCHANGE SYSTEM
The overall objective of this AGRIEXC HANGE project is to coordinate and support the creation of a sustainable network to develop a common data exchange system in agriculture. This is to be achieved through a prior technical feasibility study and to study a possible reference framework for the interoperability of data exchange between various companies in the cluster and, where appropriate, with the European platform AGRIROUTER.
The present project, which has an execution time of 5 months and a cost of 35. 35.000 € consists of 4 work packages, dedicated to the realisation of a study of the art, a technical and economic feasibility study and a use case, which will allow us to make strategic decisions and evaluate the convenience of 1) developing a data exchange platform, 2) establish a communication protocol between several companies of the Cluster, or 3) develop a CLOUD interface and a HMI (Human-Machine Interface) support to link the management of different agricultural machines (fertilisation, sowing, crop protection) with different agricultural management softwares, as well as with end users (farmers). The system to be evaluated should consist of managing and exchanging data and updating it automatically and intelligently, as well as allowing feedback on the actual performance of the implements. Thus, it is intended to link the system components and to realise the database, the logical architecture and the CLOUD interface in order to have a fully interconnected cyber-physical system.
